India की National Security को लेकर आज एक बहुत बड़ी और बेहद अहम Meeting हुई है। Defence Minister Rajnath Singh ने 24 March 2026 को West Asia की स्थिति और India की Defence Preparedness पर Stock लिया।
Meeting में Chief of Defence Staff, Service Chiefs, Defence Secretary, Secretary (Defence Production) और Chairman DRDO शामिल हुए। यह Review तब आया है जब West Asia Conflict अपने चौथे हफ्ते में है जो Global Trade Routes को बुरी तरह Disrupt कर रहा है, खासकर Strait of Hormuz के जरिए।
Tensions तब बढ़ गए जब 28 February को Iran के Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei को Joint US-Israel Strikes में मार दिया गया।
Modi ने Gulf Crisis को ‘Worrisome’ बताया है जो India के लिए बड़ा Economic और Security Risk है। Gulf में रहने वाले 1 करोड़ Indians में से 3,75,000 अब तक वापस आ चुके हैं।

West Asia Conflict क्या है पूरा माजरा
28 February को Iran के Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei को Joint US-Israel Strikes में मार दिया गया। इसके जवाब में Iran ने कई Gulf Countries में Israeli और US-linked Assets पर Attacks किए जिससे पूरा Region और Destabilize हो गया और Global Energy Markets पर असर पड़ा।
Conflict में Iran, Israel और United States शामिल हैं और यह 25वें दिन में पहुंच चुका है। Tensions लगातार बढ़ रहे हैं। Southern Lebanon में Fresh Air Strikes Report हो रहे हैं जबकि Tehran और Isfahan में भी Explosions सुने गए हैं।
Iran ने Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr को अपनी Top Security Body का नया Head बनाया है। वो Ali Larijani की जगह लेंगे जो पिछले हफ्ते एक Attack में मारे गए थे। Zolghadr अब Supreme National Security Council का नेतृत्व करेंगे।
24 March 2026 की Emergency Meeting में क्या हुआ
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh ने High-level Security Review Chair की ताकि Evolving West Asia Conflict का India की Military Preparedness पर Impact Assess किया जा सके।
Meeting में Operational Readiness, Supply Chain Resilience और Future Warfighting Capabilities पर Strong Focus था। Meeting में CDS, Service Chiefs, Senior Defence Officials और DRDO Leadership शामिल हुईं। Regional Security Environment और West Asia में Potential Escalation से उठने वाले Risks का Evaluation किया गया।
उन्हें Global और Regional Security Scenario, Ongoing Conflicts के Possible Escalation का India पर Impact और Current Geopolitical Situation द्वारा Present किए गए Challenges और Opportunities के बारे में Brief किया गया।
Supply Chain Management पर भी Discussion हुआ Defence Equipment की Procurement और Production की तरफ, जिसमें Existing Equipment की Maintenance और Serviceability भी शामिल है।
Rajnath Singh ने क्या Directions दिए
Rajnath Singh ने Armed Forces और Defence Establishment को Direct किया कि Evolving Battlefield Dynamics का Continuous Analysis Institutionalise करें ताकि India की Combat Preparedness सभी Domains में बढ़े Land, Air, Sea, Cyber और Space।
Defence Minister ने Continuous Learning की Importance Highlight करते हुए Direct किया कि “Operational और Technological Lessons को Study किया जाए” ताकि Rapidly Changing Security Environment में India की Preparedness मजबूत हो।
हमें अगले Decade के लिए एक Comprehensive Integrated Roadmap Formalise करना होगा जिसमें Lessons Learnt, Challenges और Opportunities को Factor करते हुए Aatmanirbharta और Operational Readiness सुनिश्चित की जाए सभी Fronts पर उन्होंने कहा।

Oil Crisis कितनी गंभीर है India पर क्या असर
Modi ने Note किया कि India की Crude Oil और Gas Imports का एक बड़ा हिस्सा Affected Region से आता है जो एक Key Trade Corridor भी है। Prime Minister ने Warning दी कि Ongoing Conflict Global Stability के लिए गंभीर चुनौतियां पैदा कर रहा है और Early Resolution की जरूरत है।
Oil Crisis India को बुरी तरह Hit कर रहा है और यह Long Time तक एक बड़ी Challenge रहेगी, Modi ने Warning दी। India अब 41 Countries से Oil Source कर रहा है, पहले के 25 से 16 ज्यादा।
यह एक बहुत बड़ा Shift है जो दिखाता है कि India को Gulf Dependency से बाहर निकलने की कितनी जरूरत है।
3.75 लाख Indians वापस आए Evacuation Mission
Gulf में रहने वाले 1 करोड़ Indians में से 3,75,000 अब तक वापस आ चुके हैं। उनमें से करीब 1,000 Iran से हैं, ज्यादातर Medical Students।
यह भारत के अब तक के सबसे बड़े Evacuation Operations में से एक है। Government ने Special Flights Arrange कीं और Embassies ने 24/7 काम किया ताकि Indians को Safety में निकाला जा सके।
Strait of Hormuz दुनिया की Oil की Lifeline खतरे में
Ongoing Conflict ने Trade Routes को बुरी तरह Disrupt कर दिया है, खासकर Strait of Hormuz के जरिए।
US President Donald Trump ने PM Modi से बात की। उन्होंने Middle East में Ongoing Situation Discuss किया, जिसमें Strait of Hormuz को Open रखने का Importance भी शामिल था, US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor ने X पर Post किया।
Strait of Hormuz दुनिया का सबसे Important Oil Chokepoint है जहां से दुनिया की करीब 20% Oil Supply गुजरती है। अगर यह पूरी तरह Block हो गया तो Global Oil Prices आसमान छू सकते हैं।
Supply Chain पर क्या असर
Review ने Defence Procurement, Logistics और Maintenance Ecosystems में Vulnerabilities Examine कीं, खासकर Global Supply Chain Disruptions के Context में।
India के कई Defence Components और Spares Foreign Countries से आते हैं। West Asia Conflict की वजह से Shipping Routes Disrupt हो रहे हैं जिससे Delays और Cost Increase हो रहा है। Rajnath Singh ने इस Issue पर Serious Focus रखा और Aatmanirbharta को Priority बताया।
एक Key Emphasis Ongoing Conflicts से Real-time Operational और Technological Lessons Extract करने पर रखा गया खासकर Modern Warfare Tactics, Advanced Weapon Systems और Integrated Defence Operations जैसे Areas में।
West Asia में जो Modern Warfare Technologies Use हो रही हैं Drones, Precision Missiles, Cyber Attacks, Electronic Warfare उनसे India को बहुत कुछ सीखना है। DRDO को Direct किया गया कि इन Technologies को Study करें और India के लिए Adapt करें।
PM Modi ने Parliament में क्या कहा
Prime Minister Modi ने Tuesday को Rajya Sabha में कहा कि जैसे-जैसे West Asia Conflict बढ़ता जा रहा है, यह जरूरी है कि “Peace और Dialogue की United Voice” Indian Parliament से पूरी दुनिया तक पहुंचे। उन्होंने कहा कि India का Aim Region में Dialogue के जरिए Peace Restore करना है।
Modi ने Monday को Lok Sabha में Warning दी कि West Asia Conflict से उठने वाली Challenging Global Conditions Extended Period तक जारी रहने की संभावना है। Modi ने Nations से Urge किया कि वो Prepared और United रहें, बिल्कुल वैसे ही जैसे COVID-19 Pandemic के दौरान थे।
Modern Warfare का नया चेहरा
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh ने Saturday को देश के हर Citizen से Urge किया कि वो हर समय Vigilant और Prepared रहें क्योंकि Modern Times में Conflicts की Nature में Paradigm Shift आ गया है।
Present-day Warfare Borders से आगे जाता है, National Security में अब Economic, Digital, Energy और यहां तक कि Food Security भी शामिल है।
यह Point करते हुए कि एक Nation को Economic, Cyber, Space और Information Warfare के जरिए Weaken किया जा सकता है, Defence Minister ने Robust Military की जरूरत Highlight की जिसे Prepared Citizens का Support मिले जो किसी भी Circumstances में Nation को Protect करने के लिए Shoulder-to-shoulder खड़े हो सकें।
UAE ने कहा है कि उसने आज Iran से आने वाली 5 Ballistic Missiles और 17 Drones Intercept कर लिए हैं। यह दिखाता है कि Gulf Countries पूरी तरह Alert Mode में हैं और किसी भी वक्त Situation और खराब हो सकती है।
निष्कर्ष
24 March 2026 की Rajnath Singh की Emergency Meeting सिर्फ एक Routine Review नहीं थी यह India की National Security के लिए एक Wake-up Call है। West Asia Conflict चौथे हफ्ते में है, Iran के Supreme Leader मारे जा चुके हैं, Strait of Hormuz खतरे में है, 3.75 लाख Indians Evacuate हो चुके हैं और Oil Crisis India की Economy को बुरी तरह Hit कर रही है। ऐसे में Rajnath Singh का Direction सही है Operational और Technological Lessons सीखो, अगले Decade का Integrated Defence Roadmap बनाओ और Aatmanirbharta के साथ सभी Fronts पर Operational Readiness सुनिश्चित करो। यह Conflict कब तक चलेगा यह कोई नहीं जानता, लेकिन एक बात साफ है India को हर Situation के लिए Prepared रहना होगा क्योंकि Modern Warfare अब सिर्फ Borders तक सीमित नहीं है, यह Economy, Cyber Space, Energy और यहां तक कि Food Security तक फैल चुका है।
